Amron Omar
Amron Omar was born 1957 in Alor Setar, Kedah, Malaysia. He studied at the School of Art & Design at Institut Teknologi MARA in the mid-70s, his work made a very early impact on the local art scene. His oeuvre has remained very small but significant and heavily inspired by Silat and sometimes Chinese martial arts. He is a very private person and doesn't exhibit his work very often. He also doesn't really like selling his work. He lives in Kuala Lumpur.
